Possible Joseph Smith revelation?

I'm not sure what to make of this, but someone in our family organization sent me an email containing the text of an alleged revelation that Joseph Smith received for my ancestor F.G. Williams during a visit to Frederick in Quincy sometime either in 1841 or 1842. Supposedly it is in the handwriting of Ezra Granger Williams, Frederick's son and my ancestor, and is believed to have been written later in Ezra's life. And no, I don't know the provenance, and the family member isn't sure it's legit. We have a few nutjobs in the extended family, so take it with a grain of salt, but I thought it was interesting.
Oddly enough, the relative who sent this thinks that the prophecy has something to do specifically with some current events. Weird.
Verily thus sayeth the Lord unto my servant Frederick I have chastened thee and tred [tried?] thee in consecuence of thy transgressions--inasmuch as he has exalted himself and did not humble himself suficently before me But I know thy heart and have heard thy prayers--and say unto you your sins are forgiven you--and now if my servant Frederick humbleth not himself and receiveth not my chastening--for with the chastisement I prepare a way for your deliverance in all things out of temptation--that you will fall into transgression--and inasmuch as you have not taught your children light and truth according to the commandments I have given you in a former day--that wicked one hath power over you and this is the cause of your affl[iction]--But if he humbleth himself in all things to receive [unreadable] through him whom I have appointed unto you to receive commandments he shall be exalted--and his posterity shall receive an inheritance in this world and also a reward in the world to come
And in a coming day shall thy posterity work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men which shall follow after much tribulation--and behold in that day shall the devil rage in the hearts of the children of men--even to the percution [persecution?] of the saints--and my church shall rise forth out of obscurity and out of darkness[back side of sheet]
[unreadable] yea even to the highest [unreadable] of the government of the United States. And those who unite themselves with my people shall receive a crown of righteousness to be clothed upon even as I am to be with me that we may be one--and behold many shall fall because of the fear of persecution and the cares of the world--and those who continue in steadfastness shall not fear but shall be exalted
And in that day shall mine anointed go forward in strength--even to the ends of the earth preparing the way before my face for the time of my coming--for behold I come quickly--Even so Amen
