This is the irrefutable reasoning being used at our favorite forum to defend the proposition that the D&C attributes deception to God.

Poor God. He gets such bad PR these days. He needs to hire a press agent or something. He also is an awful writer. Ghost writing for the next work, please.

Ghost writing is what made the previous ones so bad. Presumably if God wrote his own books instead of outsourcing them to his team of writers via the Holy Ghost, they wouldn't suck so much.

Well, that certainly puts to pasture the idea that certain works are "inspired" of God. I was under the impression that god was the true author of the music of Mozart and Beethoven, the writings of Shakespeare, and the art work of Michelangelo.

Or maybe he just has a hard time coming up with decent conduits for his scriptural masterpieces.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
