MADB has suspended me, apparently for reporting a pointless and insulting post by Kemara on the lying-God thread. After all that the mods over there complain about vigilante justice, I decided to give the report post function a whirl. It's never worked before, but hey, I figured maybe they've cleaned things up? One can always hope. Unfortunately, no such luck. Well, screw you too, Juliann.

How could they suspend you for reporting something? What thread was that on?

This is crazy! Did a Mod specifically advise you that you were suspended, or can you just not log in?

Seriously? Funny - they closed the thread and gave Kemara a minor caution. I can't believe that they'd suspend you over it. Another reason I never wanted to report posts - I was always worried about the repercussions of a post-mo reporting a mo.

The moderation over there has been cracking me up - I had noticed that Jigglysaint was talking about evildoers or something lining up to teabag Joseph Smith's corpse. If you read the post now, it's not noted as having been edited, but the teabag reference is removed. No scolding (which I would have thought would have been appropriate - that's actually pretty crude for that board). Can you imagine the result if a critic had made the same comment?

Just can't login. But the only thing I did this morning, so far as I can recall, is report that post. It's only like a ten-hour suspension.

I just read it. Here's the post wherein you got suspended:

I agree that the Bible attributes all sorts of immoral garbage to God. It reflects poorly on the Bible. I, for example, cannot and will not accept a God who commands his people to commit genocide. Such a God would be far worse than a God who's a liar, though that's hardly a vindication of the lying God of Joseph Smith.
Watch it with what you are calling God, it will not be tolerated. Time out for you. ~Mods

Part of it was also probably due to your other thread here where you linked to MAD.

Ah - it would seem that Zak can call God a liar using scripture, but if you actually say it without a scripture, you get suspended. I get it (not).
