Is Obama following LDS style?

I hear reports on conservative radio stations the Obama's campaign people going door to door are not to engage people on the issues such as taxes or the war but more on how Obama makes them feel - some exmo's may say been there done that -

Yah, it's worked so well for the Church that it demands to be copied. ;)
