Am I going crazy, or have the MAD mods made a thread totally disappear? I ask you because I could have sworn you were the first and only response to it before it vanished. I want to say that the OP linked to a FAIR or FARMS article about changes to the D&C, then quoted a handful of LDS leaders (I remember Joseph Fielding Smith was among them - can't recall any others) who were all saying something along the lines that there has been no need for revising or altering any revelations in the Church at any time. I thought you replied with something like those quotes of denial didn't bother you at all, and the changes didn't affect doctrine.

Apologies if it wasn't you and you have no idea what I'm talking about, but I remember thinking when I read that thread that it wouldn't last long. I thought they would close it, but deleting it from the board altogether? Let me know if you can recall the content of the OP.

I once quoted a misspelled word from a post by DCP where he criticized someone else for misspelling a word. I didn't point it out explicitly. When I came back later, the misspelling had been edited in both his post (with no edit notice at the bottom, mind you) and in mine.

A little revisionist history at play? Kind of reminds me of the Book of Commandments.

There is a thread entitled "Translation Question" about the D&C but I too seem to recall another one about changes in the D&C. I'm pretty sure I didn't post in that one. Wish I could help you further.

I would say that you could go to your profile, click "Profile Options" and select "Find member's post's" and scroll through your posts to find it but it doesn't sound like you posted in it either.
