Banned from MADB for Using the Word "Penis"

I'm honestly shocked. Oh, well. I almost never posted there, anyway.
I don't use profanity as a general rule, and never considered the word "penis" vulgar in the least! It seems like I've even seen it before on MADB in reference to the exalted male Mormon God.
Goodness. It seems very silly to me.

PS. Follows the post that got me banned:
Scott Lloyd's reply to my original post in the thread "Offenders for a Word" (Oh, the irony...)

T-Bone, I always knew you were a smart one! I thought of the exact same poem yesterday after looking over this thread.
Surely everyone knows The Blind Men and the Elephant, but here's the last stanza for anyone who has forgotten:
So oft in theologic wars,
The disputants, I ween,
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean,
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen!

So, if I am to understand the application to this thread, those who insist on a narrow, parochial, non-historic definition of Christianity -- such as those who deny the Christianity of Mormonism -- are like one of the six blind men who, for example, felt the tusk and concluded that the elephant is "very like a spear."
Yes, the application is very apt. Thank you.
My ban-worthy reply to him:
Mormons are blind as well. Their God is an exalted man. They must have touched something on that elephant that felt like a penis.
