I'm curious to see how this board measures up regarding religious orientation or lack thereof. How do you self describe regarding the poll options?

Non-theist seems broad.
Does it entail atheist, deist, and even agnostic?

I intended non-theist to mean atheist, agnostic atheist, pagans, and new ager type people. Deist, I suppose, would fall under theist.
Nit picker.

Come on people, didn't you catch the memo?
marg proved we're all atheists. "Logically" speaking, of course.

It's funny you should use that line tonight, my husband used the exact same one. We went to a Mad Hatter's gala tonight and we were a little early. As we entered there was a couple dressed up in an outfit suitable for an Alice in Wonderland party and my hub said to them...oh I guess you didn't get the memo. (we didn't dress up)
But yes Kevin logically we are all atheists. I guess you didn't read the Catholic Encyclopedia comment on that. Considering you quoted the Pope as if your own words, I figure you are partial to anything the Catholic church puts out.

I am a former believer, still on the books LDS, but consider myself somewhere between agnostic and atheist.

I am a theist. Even if the LDS Church were proven completely false to my satisfaction, I would still believe in God.

Atheist through and through. But I believe in aliens and you can't believe in one and still believe in the other, because God cancels out aliens and aliens cancels out God.
