Like Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

I always hear people would say that Joseph was a Prophet like Abraham, Issac and Jacob but what did those three men say and did it come true - A great may scholars believe they did not even exist but are myth. The Jews today are not like sands of the seashore - the Chinese are like the sands of the seashore. I don't see any support for Abraham, Issac and Jacob being prophets except for people saying it or writing it which does not mean that they were prophets.

As far as Joseph is concerned: Emma never embraced polygamy and was not destroyed. She married again and lived to old age and then died. Zions camp was not successful as spoken and written and they barely made it back in one piece - and some never made it back.

Well, I thought that the re-discovery in 1967, of the Papyrus from which the Book of Abraham was translated from, convinced nearly all scholars that Abraham did indeed exist. And from this, I thought that nearly all scholars do believe that Abraham's son Isaac, and Abraham's Grandson Jacob both indeed did exist.

And the ones that don't believe this are crackpots...

Hi,
Yeap, that is pretty very much right. Ever since the Book of Abraham Papyrus was re-discovered in 1967, and the Egyptologists scholars translated it to be the Book of Abraham, and the Papyrus dates to being around 1900 B.C.E., any of the very few scholars who now doubt the existence of Abraham, are now pretty much considered 'crackpots' indeed.
