Can someone explain why I was banned from MADB?

I posted CHAP's post from the thread entitled "A Book of Mormon Evidence Implodes . . ." at MAD and stated, respectfully, that I was posting it because I thought it was fair to allow DCP a chance to respond without coming over to MDB, where he is not treated very well (I used those words). I then pasted the full post in a quote box. That was it. In short order, the thread was closed, then entirely deleted from the board and now when I try to log in to MADB, I read "you do not have permission to view this board." What gives? Can somebody tell me? Is there some rule I violated or something? I have been suspended for arguing with the mods favorites over there, but on those occasions, when I logged in, it just said I was suspended. So I am pretty sure I am done there. EDIT: I AM SURE I AM DONE THERE, AS BRACKITE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO CHECK AND MY MEMBERSHIP STATUS IS "BANNED".

The silver lining is that my wife will be thrilled that I can no longer join in the discussions over there. As an active church member who sees the obvious ("suppression" of Church history), she has little tolerance for those who disengenuously argue that we all "should have known" about polyandry, etc. and she cannot stand a handful of the most active posters over there.

If you asked, they would undoubtedly say you violated the rule against "board wars". But banning you without warning? That's low.

Caprice is all you should expect from the defenders of an utterly capricious organization...

Welcome to the club, amigo.

They watch this board. You walked into a trap.

They also have a rule about cross-posting from one board to another, particularly THIS board.

That's nuts. I was actually doing DCP a favor allowing him to respond without coming over here. He must agree, because even after they deleted the thread altogether, he posted a response. So I guess that makes me a martyr for DCP. Maybe I should be proud, as so many over there probably envy my being able to take a fatal blow for DCP.

Can anyone quote the "board wars" rule? Never knew of it.

Hello mms,

The main reason why I believe that you got banned over there, is because you are not part of the TBM LDS elite over there.

We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion.

Sorry you were banned, mms. I was also banned without warning. I'd never been previously warned or suspended, though I didn't post much. It wasn't much of a loss to me.

Don't be mad they're not fair. ;) They don't deserve you anyway!

This is a quote taken directly from the MAD Board Guidelines:

MAD Board Guidelines wrote: Do not start board wars or cross-posting (duplicate discussions from other boards on the MADB boards or vice versa in order to continue an argument). Links to other discussion boards will not be permitted in most cases.

(bolded emphasis mine)
