Spiritual Paths of the September Six

This is an interesting 2003 Sunstone panel (which you can download for free) consisting of five of the so-called "September Six": LDS scholars who were excommunicated in September, 1993. The panel is not about the actual excommunications, but rather about their spiritual journeys in the ten years since their excommunications. Not all of the presenters are equally interesting. By far the most engaging were Paul Toscano (starting at 21:50), who is always thoroughly hilarious, and Lavina Fielding Anderson (starting at 1:11:40), who has continued to attend the Church every week and even to serve as a "permanent substitute" accompanist during the singing of hymns every Sunday. She's a funny and engaging speaker with a really interesting story. Every day she continues in this vein is another day that the GAs look like idiots for kicking her out. I recommend giving these portions, at least, a listen if you have the time.

Hrm... I guess you actually have to go through the Sunstone Site. It's under the category "September Six": http://www.sunstoneonline.com/symposium/symp-mp3s.asp
