Should those who excommunicate teenagers be exterminated?

Exterminated is harsh. Public shaming and abuse maybe.
Step 1: convince a child that you are the authority on all matters
step 2: give impossible goals of personal behavior
Step 3: Enforce said rules via jackbooted institutionalized shunning and group separation techniques.
Don't let them convince you that they are the authority of you and one can walk away from the abuse of Mormonism.

yea - one psychologist told me that I give people way too much power over me.

just twenty five years of believing I was not a good person because I didn't live the standard - a standard that Joseph Smith never lived. Twenty five years of paranoia, depression ,anxiety and now finally anger.

just twenty five years of believing I was not a good person because I didn't live the standard - a standard that Joseph Smith never lived. Twenty five years of paranoia, depression ,anxiety and now finally anger.
I see that you CHOOSE disfunctional emotional reactions to that life challenge. The good news is, you can, even now, make a functional CHOISE. ;-)
