wow - scientology leaders acting like Mission Presidents

I was just listening to this YouTube video by a former scientologist. He's talking about how desparate scientologists are in the face of (as the guy who made the video claims) declining stats.
At some point during the slideshow the guy explains that masturbation is a bigtime sin in Scientology, and that leaders claim that someone whose stats are down (they call them statcrashers) are seeing their stats crash because of some personal crime or sin that they have committed, often masturbation.
So, the author claims, a person in Scientology can't stand up and explain that the reason their stats are down is that it's all bullsh** and nobody's buying it. No, they have to admit instead that it's their own fault, by bringing their own stats down by (as an LDS might explain it) acts that compromise their own worthiness.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
This is a really good example of how there's nothing new under the sun. Mormon missionaries aren't baptising the world because they can't stop jerking off. Scientologists aren't selling their tech to the whole world because Scientologists can't stop jerking off. It's not the product. No, it can't be that. It's the personal unworthiness of the members/missionaries that is to blame.
What assholes these people are. I recall a Seventy making our entire mission feel about six inches tall. We'd have baptisms by the thousands if only we were more personally worthy, if only we were more righteous, if only we would work harder, etc.
