But hey, they aren't Mormons, nor are they related in any way to the Mormon Church. I downloaded this picture too when I saw it. Very interesting.

Who is the one on the far left?
I guess I'm asking how did this start? I keep hearing that they branched off after the polygamy thing.

The FLDS believed Joseph Smith, BY, and the other prophets who stated that polygamy would never leave the earth. They held firm to the teachings of the church.
The LDS broke away from these teachings with the advent of the official declaration denouncing polygamy.
