I just tried to sign onto MAD, and it popped up with a message saying it's down for remodeling.

Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah. I popped over there last night and saw the message that they are down from Sat night through Sun night ("our slowest time") to play with the site features, I think is what it said.

Too bad. You'll have to stay here!

Do you think they're all bored and reading this board?

Two new features added: The ability to blow up the computer of the poster the MAD Mods capriciously disagree with and one other that is secret, but too frightening to contemplate anyway.

Don't take it personally, Scottie, but I find myself not caring about this. I suspect that's a good sign.

Yeah, well, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I wish MDB had some baseline rules about not allowing personal attacks so that more of the MAD posters would come over here.

Of course, there are others I'd just as soon NOT come over here....

Until then, I still find MAD an interesting place for discussion.

They had a message pinned stating that this Saturday and Sunday they would be upgrading the software. Probably that new SCMC tracking update ya'll are so afraid of.... ;)

Sort of like the idea of not going overboard in either extreme but trying to find the Golden Mean? On the other hand what would happen to a board without some type of tragic flaw? Would it become like Google where everybody uses it? Whose needs then would such a board serve?
