You do, of course, realize that those are real people in that picture.

Those poor little girls. Look how young they are.

Wow, if only LoaP felt the same sense of outrage and expressed it when the real thing happens. But alas...

Doesn't the second from the right look like Elizabeth Smart?

Just like they were real people that Joseph Smith seduced and had sex with.

You do realize, LOAP, that Helen Mar Kimball could have been in that picture if we could go back 160 years or whatever with a camera, right?

How many girls, LOAP, did Joseph Smith "hit", who could actually have fit in that picture? Any idea?

Have you ever thought, LOAP, and I mean really, seriously thought about the fact that something like 30+ real girls and women, were seduced into entering secret, extra-legal, faux "marriages" by an upper 30s year old married man who claimed that God had given them all to him? These were real people, LOAP. Have you ever really, truly thought about that?

If so, how in the hell did it not shock and anger you?

It seems to me that Joseph Smith' polygamous practices is a sort of litmus test for True Believerism. If you can find a way to justify that, you can justify, rationalize, and even glorify (see Will S.) anything. There is nothing that can divide you from your faith. Nothing.

And that verifies what Tal mentioned recently - True Believerism is more related to a psychological state than actual content.

This sentence makes little to no sense. Unless you're talking about Coke.
