Will DCP and others stop saying that people believe the Bible is true and the Book of Mormon false. There are people that believe the Bible is at best historical fiction and the Book of Mormon is a modern hoax. There are people that say that Adam, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and the tribes were all stories/myths and they wrote some of these things out. That after Assyria captured some of the Hebrews, the faster ones got down to Judah and they compared their stories and put them together with a new one and now had three in one. And some people believe that Israel has been just as brutal when they are in the position of being the bully or killer as their neighbors have at times. I refer DCP to the book "the unauthorized version - truth and fiction in the Bible"

People are so inconsistent. Why don't they just describe the Book of Mormon as modern fiction, or better yet just refer to them as allegory since they are both loaded with symbolism, aimed toward teaching good moral behavior, in many parts of the books.
