Time for periodic apologies yet again

To Jason, and even to Scratch, for calling him or her, a "dirtbag".

When I spend more than a few hours at a time on this board, a natural lycanthropic change begins to set in. It's something to work on, within the Gospel framework, to be sure.

Apologies to all for any personal attacks within the previous 24 hours.

Loran

You haven't personally attacked me, Coggs. At least in the last twenty-four hours.

But, I think it says a lot about you that you're willing to openly apologize on the board.

Maybe you're not so bad after all. :)

Kimberly

PS. Merc, don't be a jerk! Coggs struggles with drinking. I don't think any of us should take cheap shots when it comes to his affliction.

This is actually part of the exit process, guys. The anger is dissonance manifesting itself. He knows he's in a lie, defending a lie, and living a lie (not being true to himself). The natural result is to lash out at those that point it out, or care enough to be honest with him. I hope at some point he'll have that moment when he realizes it's ok to accept that Mormonism isn't what he's trying to make it be: The Truth.

I'm not impressed by apologies from those that don't change their behavior. I've seen a few of these apology threads from Coggins.

Hollow.

Then what does that say about angry exmo's?

I wonder if Mormonism, in its many forms, is one of Loran's triggers. If so, he'd be better off without it. If not, it still doesn't seem to be helping him much.

Thank you to those who accepted the apology in good faith, as it was given.

To those who do not seem able to do this...

Well, you know, nothing to see here.

I have a soft spot for you, Cogs. :)

You're OK in my book.
