I think Jesus Christ would be a good way to start this thread. Can anyone find anyone else that's weird?

Don't know if this fits wa-cha-had in mind? But, a week-or-so ago i came across some old Family Group Sheets. There it was in ink, the Baptismal and sealing work for my long dead ancestors was performed. Looking at that, and visualizing a group of teens being immersed, and sealed for my ancestors... THAT IS WEIRD! And, that it is believed by adults to be efficacious in that purpose, is much-more-weirder!!! Roger

My mom found that I am related to Charlemagne.

And Pocahontas is my 12th great grandma. She has the genealogy for that too.

That was John Smith. Who through the LDS system of genealogy probably can be shown to related to Joseph Smith...

She sure did--with John Smith. That dude my Catholic neighbor said started the Mormon church. ;)

Seriously, I've heard so many non-Mormons here in Oklahoma say that John Smith started Mormonism. They know he didn't, but get Joseph Smith's name confused with John's. Poor John, to be maligned in such a way!

My Baptist friend said the other day, "This is my friend, Kimberly Ann. She's a former Mormon. You know, that church started by John Smith." Cracked me up.

Also seriously, Pocahontas didn't have an affair with John Smith, no matter that the Disney movie says otherwise.

"Mr. Liberace" is one of my favorites. There are also several IGI listings for "Wladziu Valentino Liberace" and "Walter Liberace" (all the same person), and indications that the record was "submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS Church."

A long lost descendant, no doubt.

Can you even imagine the pubescent teen dunked for "Mr. Liberace?"

The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.
