Why were BCSpaces comments from my Noah's Ark thread and the dinosaurs and my subsequent reply split? It was relevant to the thread! Who did that?

No one signed their name. It was caveman speak from the movie with Raquel Welch. Translated it pretty much said -- RUN! Fast! Big Dinosaur! Ouch! It was not a derailment as it was talking about how nuts it is to believe that humans and dinosaurs coexisted.

Gawd! I make points all the time by being a smart ass. I appreciate that others don't get humor sometimes. Yet, sheesh. Sometimes it aggravates the hell out of me. Seriously.

I hope that the mod who moved them sees this and explains. I didn't see them until they'd already been moved. And mods? I thought we were putting our sig on the posts/threads that we moved?

Also an aside to new MAD cross overs (and lurkers)...you can actually do this kind of thread on this board openly and publicly without being tossed off the board.

Sorry, I didn't (and still don't) see how the latter follows from the former.

I already knew it was you. I had no doubt about that. I just didn't want to appear too presumptuous. :)

I just didn't understand why those posts were split off. I do not want any of my threads split off for derailments -- if I asked for that to happen then the majority of the posts in many of my threads would be gone. I don't get the arbitrary nature of the thread split off. Coggins came into one of my evolution threads and did nothing but insult me for 2 pages. The God Feel thread is 4+ pages of whether Einstein was a theist! The new mudcat thread has morphed into the same debate! I just don't understand why I get shot off to outer darkness. Please note though I do NOT want those posts split off. I do not care and am happy with the way the thread is progressing.

The posts were on-topic for my thread. I posted a picture to show how odd it is for people to be side by side with dinosaurs. Using caveman vernacular (obviously made up) that is speaking of dinosaurs goes further to illustrate the ludicrous nature of the idea of man and dinosaur roaming the Earth side by side.

Does anyone else get it?
