Jersey Girl is no longer a moderator

Normally I wouldn't dream of making such an announcement, but this thread has been created at the request of Jersey Girl herself. So here it is.
Although I'd prefer to not say any more on the subject, I'm pretty certain that some here will ask anyway. I'll keep it simple by quoting what I told her:

I'd prefer if everyone just take this at face value and not ask me about all the PMs I've received regarding this issue over the months. I'd prefer to keep any and all such communications, especially the identities of all parties involved, private.

I'm afraid that the votes of "no confidence" in my InBox have reached critical mass. Rather than continuing to argue with them, I think it would be easier to gain goodwill if you merely were no longer a moderator.

Obviously your general membership would remain intact, it's just that you'd no longer have moderatorial powers is all.
