Perhaps the women of this dispensation were less valiant or else tried to shield the tea and coffee plants during the great war.

I prophecy that when women are given the priesthood, the excuse from the brethren will be, forget everything we said before concerning women and the priesthood. We spoke with limited light and knowledge, etc. After 30 years of women having the priesthood, the idea that women were once denied the priesthood will be an anti-mormon lie.

by the way, I enjoyed that last scripture:

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me: Call his name, Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

Where does the Lord come up with these names? What if the prophetess and her husband wanted to name him Cody, or Michael?

The jews was a little weird in their naming conventions.
Columbia Encyclopedia: Maher-shalal-hash-baz
(mā'ər-shăl'əl-hăsh-băz) [Heb.,=the spoil speeds, the prey hastens], in the Bible, name of Isaiah's son, symbolizing hope for Judah during the Assyrian attack on Damascus and Samaria.

People named Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz
- Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, American actor
- Maher Shalal Hash Baz is a musical group led by Tori Kudo, a Japanese naivist composer and musician.

Anyway, it has meaning in hebrew. I don't know, if this can be said about an american or a japanese.

Nota bene what is the meaning of Lachoneus, Giddianhi, Gidgiddoni or Coriantumr. Or the others.
As far as I know, they were kind of jews. Or is it a folklore only?

Naaa, the will just deny the literalness of those scriptures. They can't give women power, they will fear a take over. It's not in man's nature.

They made women cover their hair. Ach, my feminist side is coming through, I will stop before I begin on a rant. Lol, reminds me of arguing with missionaries as a young girl (10 ish) about how it was unfair for women, I also once has a disscussion about prophetesses when I was younger with a RM, he made me believe they were disgusting liers, probably because I had only quoted of one prophetess. Wish I knew there were more. He isn't talking to me anymore :( We were good friends. What can one do? Just gotta move on.

I'm confused. Where is the teaching that women will never hold the Priesthood. There's nothing to recant.

That is like a segregated restaurant claiming they are not racist because they have no reason for their segregation and they might some day allow open access in the future.

No, it's more like a male golfing club or female-only spa that decides to change their status except that the head of the organization is run by God.
