Actually there is when you subject someone to one environment against another - but the bottom line is that the post is true and given the nature of teenagers and young adults, the church sets people up for a bad experience. The likelyhood of experiencing tremendous shame is high when living as a youth in the LDS church. Why would an LDS girl try to get an abortion and have a temple wedding rather then having a baby and a civil marriage. She likely experienced the same culture that I did. I can understand her mind when looking through the lens of an LDS teenager and what people tell you in church. How many women have had abortions and temple weddings. Most experiences of people are not terminally unique.
