Yes, everyone, you read that right. On Sunday June 29, 2008 at exactly 2:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time--precisely ten hours and twenty minutes before I typed this--our very own GADIANTON worked out his salvation (after all that he could do) and was crowned with his mantle of exaltation, yea, even Godhood!

As many of you know, Gadianton made his first appearance on the Morminternet back at the old Zion's Lighthouse Message Board, now all-but-defunct. It didn't take him long to establish a well-deserved reputation as being well-spoken and very knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics.

Like many of us, when ZLMB died he migrated to FAIR, then here. (I can't remember if he still posts occasionally at MA&D or not.) On a personal note, I have had the good fortune of meeting Gadianton in real life, where a good time was had by all.

So now I am taking the liberty of bringing Gadianton through the veil (minus the five points of fellowship, of course) into the realm of the Gods, after which he will most likely be abducted into the Goddess suite.

As is our wont, if anyone has anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy to say about Gadianton, now is the time and this is the place to do so.

Well, Gadianton? Let's hear it! SPEECH!! SPEECH!!

A correction: I met Gadianton when he was still Fer-de-Lance back on the old 2think forum. Here is what I observed after making his acquaintance in person:

I have to disagree with the OP to the extent that Alf has offered up correction for you see, some of us go waaay back and unless my memory serves me in error, Gad's online career began with a snake.

And together we inhabited the land of rpcman
