Well, good heavens, Beck is a flat footed fraud , long since revealed as such, who came into the Oprahfied media world looking for her fifteen seconds. She received it. She was then exposed for what she was. Now she's back for another fifteen.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Well Droopey,
You got it right, for once....
If you could only apply the critical thinking on Joseph Smith's claims....

You should be that smart....

Maybe. Maybe not.

I think she's basically over and done with. Very few seem to take her story seriously.

That's probably why she's peddling it to a new audience now, one that's perhaps less disposed to question it.

The only new wrinkle here is that I think she's invented a new version of how her alleged vaginal scarring was discovered. That might be worth noting. But I could be mistaken.

Forgive me, but--not being female myself--isn't vaginal scarring pretty common for anyone who has given birth naturally?

Plus, I'm a bit skeptical about the whole "recovered memories" phenomenon. I have EXTREMELY VIVID memories of every injustice I had to endure as a child, so something that much more heinous would, methinks, be seared into my memory banks forever, had it happened to me.

Really? Then why all of the commotion on yonder MA&D board and Fair/Farms? Why not let the sheep find out for themselves?

Regardless, it is just another public moment that the word Mormon is used in a bad light. Works for me!

NO

So, how common is it?

If someone has vaginal scarring, is it always indicative of non-consentual penetration?

One would imagine that the tremendous stretching during childbirth could easy result in some degree of tearing and its secondary scar formation.
