He should be careful as he is knocking down many LDS authors AND the bookstore of LDS Inc!

LOL. I love this guy. He's so hardcore! Incidently I totally agree with him about fluff novels.

Edit: There's three parts! Man this guy is passionate. 30 minutes of passion. We need to bottle this guy and fuel our cars off it.

I agree with him, DB has become a joke and the LDS can do a lot better to challenge themselves. Keeping the members dumb serves no one.

Keeping the members dumb is how they got to where they are today.

I agree with him. I find some of my favorite LDS books at old book shops in Utah. The stuff being published in the 1950's by the church is far superior than 90% of whats at Deseret now.

The best part was when he affirmed that the 10 tribes exist as a distinct entity with their own scriptures and will return. This is a very chapel Mormon idea, I wonder how on earth he came to believe it.

The church that you belong to was completely different back then. Today they are "mainlined xtians in an effort to attract more followers from other faiths.
Heck back then it was a common teaching that blacks were less valiant in the pre-existence.

And you guys have the audacity to badmouth John P. Pratt.
My favorite part of his repetitive nonsense was the blustering about how the first thing you see in Mormon bookstores is "lots of crafty junk." Lol! Is he going after scrapbooking? And what were the "models" he went off on? You know the "models" "we" have to have because "we've" made the scriptures so boring. Was he talking about Book of Mormon action figures or Chad Hardy's calendar?
I sure hope no darn kids ever lose their ball in his yard. That'll be good for an at least 6-part YouTube rant...

LOL. Oh man, you nailed him. If I didn't have anything to fear from going public, there would be a "ball-in-the-yard" parody coming up.
It is funny though he condemns all the "crafty junk", considering all of his wood work that he does for a living. Which, from what I've seen, represents the the pole opposite from his apologetics on his personal talent spectrum.
