They found Cain! Yay!
I have been astonished that Men could die Martyrs for religion - I have shudder'd at it - I shudder no more - I could be martyr'd for my Religion - Love is my religion - I could die for that -

The carcass of the furry half-man, half-ape is 7 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs more than 500 pounds, they say.
Not someone I'd want to have an argument with.

Where did this idea of Cain as Bigfoot get started?

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Totally! It was fun for the ten minutes or so that it lasted, though.
It's been a big month for the X-Files crowd...first the Montauk Monster, then the New Mexico Chupacabra, and now Sasquatch....
Moksha, I don't know where the idea came from, but I'm willing to bet it's perpetuated by people like my dad, who whole-heartedly believe the Arctic is being freed from ice so that the Lost Ten Tribes can finally come out from the underworld they've been living in...

Good question, I've never heard that one before.
I think Geico should stay with the gecko mascot rather than drawing attention to cavemen.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

If I recall correctly it started with Heber C. Kimball who told a story about a large harry man walking alongside some of the brethren on horses. I can't remember the details but I can look them up. He never identified the man as big foot, though.
The idea was given legitimacy by Spencer Kimball in one of his books, Miracle of Forgiveness, I think.

He must have been walking here, hoping for some manscaping:
