Introducing GameMaster

Greetings, not sure if this is the right place, but I introduce myself here nevertheless. I create LDS based RPGs (role-playing games) as you can see from my signature. I have been LDS all my life and served in England 91-93. Thanks for having me.

You might care to know that this board is dominated by apostates from Mormonism, some of them quite bitter.

Yes, I gathered that from looking over the Board, but there may be some still interested even if it is just one or two.

Just to help set the tone...
Mormon-based RPGs? You mean, a role-playing game based on the fantasy novel known as the Book of Mormon? That's cool, it would be just like making an RPG based on Lord of the Rings.
I wanna be Laman. Muahahahahahaha!
And I know how it'll go. Someone will be Nephi and roll for their stats, and their Strength will be like 20, because, you know, he's got those massive bulging muscles in all those pics. Plus he's got "Chop Heads" and "Electric Force Field" as special abilities, which is so totally not fair.

Heh. One can only imagine DCP warning a person asking critical questions about his faith on MADB that the board is filled with apologists, some of them quite bitter, and that he should expect lots of sneering and mocking. It's equally true, but you'll never, ever see that happen. It's not exactly a mystery why.
Personally, I think an LDS-themed RPG could rock. Of course, most RPG's that are put out there not done by reputable companies are far, far away from rocking, but gems show up now and then.

Actually on
Book of Mormon Battles one can choose to fight as Lamanites or Gadianton Robbers. It is more stratgy based than anything.
However, maybe this may be more to the liking here:
As for the sneers and mockery, I understand the concept.
