Read it. It is only two page.

For everybody who try to defend polygamy as god's will - be it god's will as temporary or as eternal (celestial?) command:
that site wrote: ... given the fact that roughly equal numbers of boys and girls are born in any community absent of gender selection for female births, the practice of polygamy leads unavoidably to bride shortages and a surplus of boys ...

Could count Joseph Smith and/or BY on their fingers?

D&C 132:62 wrote:And if he have ten virgins given unto him by this law, he cannot commit adultery, for they belong to him, and they are given unto him; therefore is he justified.

Can count god/God/GOD/YHWH/Jehovah/Elohim/whoever count on his/her/its fingers?

It is obvious why god removed the practice from HIS people in 1890!

Joseph and Brigham did what the other great prophets of the Bible were commanded to do, so what is your point?

Thanks for the link to Wikipedia reference. My son and I were talking about these unlucky young men just today.

Joseph and Brigham did liken polygamy unto a pyramid scheme. The whole trick is to get in on the ground floor within a community as it just begins the practice. This ensures that you can make your selections before only the youngest girls have not been spoken for.

My point is that the morality is one thing (immoral cults ...).

If we leave it as unimportant - even it is not - then remains only the mathematical side of the polygamy, which makes it unusable.
Math wasn't the strongest side of the religions. For example pi=3 from Old Testament.

by the way why did god remove the polygamy in 1890?
Did he remove it really?

When did they liken it unto this?

Only a problem for a closed community. Considering Matthew 7:14 and the fact that the judgement does not occur in this life, there can be many many more women in the highest degree of the CK without upsetting the overall balance.

The LDS Church could practice plural marriage today without having to worry about this problem. We are out in the world making new converts and the FLDS really aren't.

There sure are more young women joining the church now, saw entire branches of them in South America. But I have a real hard time believing that there will be more women in the celestial kingdom than men because they're somehow more righteous.

Where do You live? The EARTH is a closed community, stupid. I'm sorry! In ultimate cases I lost my temper.

Please cite the proper chapter from the doctrine (if You have one of such thing) !
Or cite the Lord's anointed !
Or cite the official apologists (read: MI) !

- We are out in the world making new converts
Only girls under 14? 16? 18? Beloved ones of Joseph Smith and Warren Jeffs? In Thailand You can get them under 9 and they look like under 6.
