Dan has publicly apologized for the firebombing of Seattle, the assassination of Herbert Hoover, the destruction of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, the extermination of the leprechauns, and a whole host of other entirely fictional crimes.
Care to answer my question, Bishop?

Have you publicly apologized for this death threat that you made?

What "death threat" are you referring to?

So, what some are saying here is that a poster issued a bonafide death threat on this board against another poster four days ago and apparently no one has reported it?

I should think that after 4 days, Shades would have addressed it. He needs to know about this. Illegal activity is completely against the rules of this board.

I've just PM'd Shades regarding the death threat. I gave him links to collegeterrace's allegation on this thread and a link to the original post that contains the alleged death threat.

You do understand that these are serious allegations and that it's gone unaddressed for FOUR DAYS?

I've reported it to Shades. We'll see what he has to say.

I read this original post and several pages of the thread that accompanied it. We're REALLY considering this a serious threat? Really?

Come on, Port. This is a stretch, even for you.

Is it bad humor in poor taste? Perhaps. But if you put it in perspective of the overall thread, I think we're carrying this a bit far. And, I'm sorry, but Scratch is no angel. He has joked about stalking DCP in the past, and has also suggested that someone contact Bob Crockett's Stake President about his comments on this site.

Look, I've been a victim of a REAL Internet stalker, so this is not stuff I take lightly. I just don't see this, in the context of everything that was said, falling into this category.

And, frankly, I'm in a precarious position because I LIKE Scratch. And I also LIKE Dr. Peterson.

I don't agree with either one of their views completely, but I do have respect for both of them, and over the past couple of years, have enjoyed an amicable Internet friendship with both of them.
