Hurricane Gustav hits US as hurricane Bristol strikes GOP

Post by _collegeterrace »

As hurricane Gustav hammers the gulf coast, another hurricane has the GOP all wet.

Teen daughter of GOP VP pick is pregnant

I can already hear the molly Mormon reactions....

"Had she been home WITH her children, instead of pursuing selfish career goals, her daughter would not be in this situation."

"No success outside of the home can compensate for FAILURE IN THE HOME!!"

"Do we want this kind of role model for our daughters? And do we want this type of role model for our boys looking for their eternal mate?"

"I fear for the rest of her children as she is absent for the next 4+ years."

The LDS General Relief Society President Julie Beck must feel vindicated!

Where does this leave the LDS voters??

Voting for a liberal black Democratic man, or a McCain and his poor role model VP?

So she was influenced by the Eagle Forum of Alaska into supporting abstinence-only education. Big deal. That only serves as more proof for the 'ExMormons for McCain' on this forum.

How so?

I am just pointing out what LDS will see. I can hear the Relief Society whisperings:
"Just because she supported abstinence-only education doesn't mean anything. She needed to be AT HOME with her daughter, supporting her"

in my opinion, Palin has waay too much on her home plate to be focused on running the country, should she be required to do so. Then again, look what Dubya did...

Hey Dirt Bag. Yes you Dirt Bag. I suggest you follow this advice on this issue:

"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president

I imagine most Mormons will respond like most civil (yes I know that concept is beyond your pea sized brain) people do. They will think that it is too bad and hope the young woman and young man can make a go of it since they have decided to step up, marry and raise the child. Personally I think adoption the better course but if not at least they are taking some responsibility for the child to be.

Wow. Now there is a sexist misogynistic comment if I ever saw one. How about this. Dad may end up being he main care giver to the children. Maybe he is now.

Hey Jack Mormon. Yes you Jack Mormon. When did I start working for Obama?

Sorry for picking in the poor VP choice, it's the Mormon side of me I just cannot seem to shake.

The GOP is throwing the election. They want Obama to win.

Sure, in the view of more liberal thinkers, but not TBMs or conservative xtians. GOD himself has said that women are best at home, not men. Try again.

A great idea for a new reality show would be the cat fights between Palin and McCain's wife.

Palin: I have more power than you!
Mrs. McCain: I have more money than you!
Palin: Your hubby listens to me more than you!
Mrs. McCain: Just keep thinking that!

I am telling you, the nation would tune in for that! The GOP could recoup some of the expense spent on throwing the election.

You are a dirt bag for attempting to exploit this in your never ending quest to criticize Mormonism not matter how stupid your attempts are.

People make mistakes. Religious people make mistakes and act in ways that they later regret. My support for her is unaffected by this.
