Apparently Steve Young's wife, Barbara opposes prop 8 to the tune of $25,000.

Someone in their Palo Alto California ward reported that she openly opposed the bill during a sunday Relief Society meeting.

The Relief Society President was talking about Prop 8. Barbara is very much against it. She apparently responded to the Relief Society by saying that she would support the proposition as soon as Christ told her to. Another Relief Society sister told her that Christ had already told her through President Monson. She was very upset and walked out.

Since you made the claim, the onus is on you. Is there an article somewhere? Do you just have anecdotal evidence? Is it a bit of gravy or rancid meat? What is it?

But I will not rat out my aunt who is an active member in the Menlo Park California Stake. She heard it from her step daughter who is in the same ward as the Youngs. Her daughter was in the Relief Society room and saw the exchange and watched Barbara walk out.
