The gentleman I was conversing with was adamant that after the resurrection, everyone would be white. He didn't quite know what to say when I told him I thought everyone would be clear.

But will their spirit children be white and delightsome (as opposed to black and loathsome?) So is it possible that our God is black? Then, why would he curse his children by giving them his color?

Will it be spiritual death on the spot for those that attempt to celestially intermarry?

Let's see. If said man is a God who is going to stop him from being pretty much whatever color he wants to be?

I suspect God does not appear as black to people on Earth mostly because all accounts describe him as shining brightly. I suppose it's possibly he does have another skin color and no one can discern it through his glory. If this is the case he might be black. he might be brown, he might be white, he might be green with pink spots. To be honest, I don't care what color people in Celestial glory are. I don't think they will care that much either as long as they appear pleasant to each other and gladden the heart when seen. I guess I'll restrict turning into a dragon to a party trick.

Color is so dependant on how our physical eyes work with the rods and cones. I tend to think our spiritual eyes will see much more--infra-dead, ultra-violent, burnt hombre, gan-green, etc.

Oh, and I plan on becoming my favorite color: invisible.

You asked in the thread regarding history of the Book of Mormon whether I thought all religious individuals were idiots. Yes Harmony I do. I think any individual who believes that a God takes a special interest in life on earth and interferes with it, in particular humans... is an idiot. I think the story of Jesus being sent by a God to earth to save mankind is idiotic. That the Book of Mormon is a story of ancient peoples written on metal plates and handed over to J.Smith by a ghost is idiotic. And anyone who believes such nonsense is an idiot, unless of course they are a child, or are handicapped by mental retardation. Many of the threads on this board are idiotic. Yours may have been set up as a joke, but I'm sure some people take such questions you posed here very seriously. I've got nothing against idiots, no more than I have against anyone with a physical or mental health issue. It seems that there is at least one glitch in the human brain, such that it doesn't appear to function very efficiently when it comes to the wishful thinking of supernatural religious belief. Religious people, don't seem to be able to separate out fantasy from the reality of their daily lives.
