In a separate thread, Jersey Girl is trying to claim that I don't "follow through" when I promise to do something. So, I figured it would be interested to play a bit of a game with real stakes and real consequences, and to run a bit of a social experiment in the process.

So, let's play "MDB Survivor!"

If I lose the poll, I will voluntarily cease posting in this forum, which means I'll be limited to Off-Topic, or Celestial, or whatever. Thus, if you voted for me, you get a new, much more efficient kind of "Ignore" feature! Further no "dis-inviting" is going on.

Jersey Girl, on the other hand, refuses to put up any stakes, so I suppose the only thing she stands to lose is a bit of pride.

I'm putting you all on notice. If elected to whatever this is, I will NOT make myself available to decorate the gym for Home Coming. If you want a dance, form a committee.

Further,

*There will be no curling irons or blow dryers installed in the girls lockeroom.

*The patio outside of the cafeteria is for your use as a fresh air space, not for you to huddle together for a smoke.

*Band lockers are for the storage of musical instruments, not to trap your current scapegoat to force them to pull a tardy on their next class.

* If elected, I will be calling in likely suspects who vandalized the computer lab by rearranging the keys on the keyboards. You know who you are. (And so do I)

I'll get back to you later in the year regarding Prom pending the results of this thread.

Agreed. The terms are stupid because according to Shades' rules, no one will ever be dis-invited from posting anywhere on the board. So, no matter the outcome, both of you will be free to post in whichever forum you choose.

I decided to were scarlet red nail polish and I am surprised that it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I tried it on a few days ago and wimped out. Hehe I have plans.
