It must come down to his fence-sitting, annonymous-posting, cowardly criticizing ways. Right?

Yeah, that was unfortunate to hear. I have no idea why - other than he claims he is still fully active - so maybe he's just trying to 'follow the prophet'.

Maybe cinepro actually thinks for himself. Maybe he has something called a "personal view", and maybe he's not doing this just to "follow the prophet".

I have a long-time LDS friend who did vote yes because she was only following the leaders' advice, and in fact spear-headed a "Yes" campaign in her home state.

When she emailed me, (as part of an email group) encouraging a yes-vote, I wrote back two long replies explaining why, even if I could vote, I'd vote no. I don't agree with her choice, but she's entitled to live by her conscience, and entitled to exercise her citizenship rights. She's entitled to put her view, just as I'm entitled to put mine, on any subject.

My powers of telepathy only work within 100 meters and Cinepro lives in California. Sorry I can't help you.

What did he say when you asked him yourself?

My Guess and Belief is because Cinepro Personally believes in the Traditional definition and view of Marriage, Which is one man and one woman. I do very much Respect the Yes Vote by Cinepro, On Proposition 8.

how anyone can vote to take away rights and call themself a true American is beyond me.

I think rcrocket is a little bummed prop 8 passed. All that potential litigation he could have billed the members for...

So how many true Scotsmen . . . I mean Americans were there back in the day when they wouldn't tolerate polygamy? Bigotry is embarassing, but it's a fact of life and an unfortunate part of American politics. It always has been. It'll be nice when that changes, but I'm not holding my breath.
