How many time have LDS General Authorities and other very officials done Jury duty? Did Brigham or Joseph or Gordie B do it while in their high callings? Wouldn't it be beneficial to the search for truth in the courtroom to have a seer and revelator there to tell the members the real truth?

If they couldn't foresee Mark Hofmann and what he was doing TO THEM, what makes you think they could read the minds of a criminal?

My Sweet Pickle has never been called to jury duty. I, on the other hand, have been called numerous times.
I think it's the luck of the draw. And they may get excused, due to their high profiles.

If GAs serve jury duty, it's a good thing that masturbation isn't a crime.

Do you guys remember when Justice Stephen Breyer of the United States Supreme Court
showed up for jury duty in his county in Massachusetts? Nobody even recognized him in his civvies, until the judge looking over the list of potential jurors read his name.
Now, who would you rather have on your jury if you were in the dock (and were guilty), a Mormon General Authority, or a US Supreme Court Justice?
I tell ya what - I'd rather have the Mormon GA.

Imagine Joseph Smith doing jury duty. "I am going to go behind that wall over there and talk to Jesus. He will tell us how to vote. No peeking at me behind the wall."
