Frybread, Bagels and Indian Tacos?

Is Frybread the Lamanite equivalent of Bagels?
Indian Tacos are the equivalent of what old time Jewish dish that Lehi & Sons would have brought with them when they fled a murder rap on Nephi?
Why don't Lamanites eat Gifilta-fish, matzo balls and the like? Is this part of their rebellion and why they turned dark and loathsome?

You realize, of course, that fry bread and Indian tacos are a very recent addition to the native menu, right? That they were added only after the commodities program of the 1940's was started?
Native foods, at least those which are known as Native foods within the native population, includes things like berries, beans, corn, salmon, cactus, etc.
I'm not sure what constitutes a native Jewish food, but I'm sure it's not bagels. Perhaps more along the lines of unleavened bread and whatever fish they catch.

The Lamanites turned dark because the liked to hang out on the beach with Laman and his beach babes instead of cowering in the caves with the pasty white leader Nephi.
Hanging out on the beach all day will give you a deep dark coppertone tan.
This theory works well with the story about how the dark skined followers of Laman had their skin turn white when they started hanging out with the pasty white Nephi. Well of course they turn white, cuz they lost their tan from being in the caves all day listening to the same old boring drivel from Nephi.
Then when they supposedly turned bad again by hanging out with Laman and his beach babes, they turned dark again due to their deep dark coppertone tan returning!
If there were any poor redheads this did not work, they were seen as being severely punished for hanging out on the beach with their skin blistering and oozing.
Was Nephi a redhead?

What Jewish foods would the Nephites have carried on that we would expect to see in descendants even years later? Anything that the Native American/Lamanites eat or prepare that calls to mind Jewish tradition?

Or anything what they
don't eat?

Too true, although technically that bunch were not actually Jewish, and mosaic law had not been established when they left the middle-east.
I too have wondered at the absence of establishment of Mosaic Law at the appropriate time when Moses received it. Surely there would have been some major Kolob-Earth contact about then, but Ether does not mention it. If it was so important that the Lehites had to keep it going, why was it not established for the Jaredites?

Matzo balls and gefilte fish are not of ancient origin. However, it is true that ancient Nephites and Lamanites would not permit milk and dairy items to be served on the same plate, so no pepperoni pizza for them.

If You search "law of Moses" in Book of Mormon, You can find 33 matches.
According to Joseph Smith, according to the UrimThummim and/or SeerStone they have kept it.
