There are many members of the Church in SLC, but very few TBM's. Utah's own "Prop 8" failed a year are two ago with the help of RINO and jack Mormon extraordinare Doug Wright, radio personality.

Makes sense doesn't it? Opposition in all things. In the heart of homoland, California, prop 8 passes. In Utah, heart of Mormonland, prop 8 fails.

I am certainly more in line with actual doctrine than any left wing Salt Lake Mormon.

Your post is what reinforces the low opinion many of us have of Utah Moronic Priesthood types.
Utah leads the nation in bankruptcies. Utah leads the nation in child molestation. Utah is known in law enforcement circles as The Fraud Capitol of the Country. Some of us have lived in Utah for some time and moved out to get back to real people instead of staying where paranoia, greed and avoidance of reality is the norm.
We know the Utah Mormons think less of many who choose not to live in the compound. In many ways we are glad to be apart from them.

Very good point. The meal of any political action is money. Simply put, LDSINC didn't give a crap until it hit the bright lights and visibility of California. After the attention was on the church it was a fund or die imperative.
