when believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

Okay, that is kind of a pointless survey.

Who is #1 for "porn" or "f***ing" or ... well, I won't get any more graphic than that.

These aren't exactly common words or phrases. So what if Utah is #1 for some off beat word searches??

Must be all those damn Californians moving into Utah by the droves?

You have to think like a Mormon. They trick themselves by putting one toe in the water first. They can't bring themselves to use nasty words but they still reveal intentions. Number one is number one.

Utah didn't even crack the top 10 for "heavy petting".

Talk about being heavy handed and not consistent.

So the comment by cinepro about heavy petting is different than dry humping??? Or how about the "f***ing" reference by your mod bud Scottie??

Further, why wasn't the entire thread moved? It really has nothing to do with Mormonism.

Perhaps you need to change the rating for the terrestrial forum to PG only?

The winds of change seem to be blowing through Shady Acres.

I am simply following the new rules that Shades adopted. See #8:
Moderators and administrators will follow the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law. Try to see things from their point of view.

(Bold emphasis mine)

I followed the spirit of the law. If you don't like it, lump it.

This is not a news to me....
What distinction Utah has over rest of US?
I think it is getting old to resurrect such righteous libels on Utah and slap them with hypocrisy.
We all know very well this State is no different than rest of USA.
I wouldn't be surprised if Happy Valley leads US along these categories.
Would I blame them?
They do it because they might be more desperate for visual stuff.

Lots and lots and lots of Mormons. Hadn't you heard?

Yes it is. It is has lots and lots of Mormons. When I lived in Utah everyone in my whole neighborhood was Mormon. Everyone in my grandparent's neighborhoods was also. One can almost gamble that a random person you meet in the street of most towns would be Mormon.
It's Mormons, Mormons, and more Mormons.

Would I blame them?

Well, there is this notion of "hypocrisy".
They do it because they might be more desperate for visual stuff.

Why is that? What is different about Utah that makes its residents desperate for "visual stuff" (nice euphemism)
