How long before receiving the mission call
After a person has submitted their mission papers, how long does it take before receiving you mission call?
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.” Psalm 145:18-19 ESV

A month or so usually.
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics
"I admit it; I'm a petty, petty man." -Some Schmo

Re: How long before receiving the mission call
Then there are some who pass all the interview and send in the paperwork and Never receive the call. Even when the Stake President starts checking, no call is extended.
In some ways a blessing so they don't have to see the 'inspired' dart board some in our mission home used to reassign Elders to new areas and companions.
In heavily LDS Areas though this failure to receive the call after going through all the preparation/interviews will forever taint the way they are looked at. Putting in paperwork and No Call brings up 'not worthy' and 'hiding some serious sins' comments for the rest of their life.

I think most people recognize that "those individuals not able to meet the physical, mental, and emotional demands of full-time missionary work are honorably excused."
