I'm gonna grab you to be one of my plural wives in the CK

Was in the foyer during meetings last week and heard one of the Stake High Counselors say that to a women in our ward. "I'm gonna grab you to be one of my plural wived in the Celestial Kingdom' is what he said. He went on about how her husband wasn't too active, was never there and just wasn't 'worthy' of women like her.(she walked away without saying a word)
The woman is a former clothes model and very good looking. Very smart with a position as a bank examiner for FDIC. This Stake officer is headed for big trouble as the husband will probably castrate him after crippling him. What the stupid High Counselor apparently know is the guy is seldom there for meetings as he is based out of Coronado an teaches at the SEAL school for the US Nave. Something like a 48 inch chest and a 29 inch waist. I watched him at the local High School giving a demonstration on the climbing rope as he went up and down, hands only, 10 times in a row while working out with the wrestling team last year. I know he is quite jealous.

One sad part is that I have heard this and of this attitude in a number of wards we have been in. Leadership types who think women are fair game and let them know about it.

Almost as bad as the Stake Prez in the Cache Valley area who would follow women into the restrooms and molest them in the financial institution he owned in Ogden a few years back. Am still waiting for 'inspired leadership' to do something about him before an irate husband finds out and terminates his existance.

Too much of this kind of crap going on in church settings. It is no wonder Utah leads the nation in Child Molestation. The leadership can't even get their minds off the female members long enough to see it.

Plural Marriage is still very much a part of LDS Doctrine. (See e.g. Doc. and Cov. 132.) When I was growing up within the LDS Church, I was taught that women are more generally more righteous as men, and that is the need for Plural Marriage within the Celestial Kingdom. There are about 100 females born for every 104 males on this planet called earth.
Females have to be generally a lot more righteous than males, for the practice of plural marriage within the Celestial Kingdom. There have been on this planet, more males who have died before the age of eight years old than females who have. Females have to be generally a lot more righteous than males, for the practice of plural marriage to take effect within the Celestial Kingdom. It made sense that I was taught that females are generally more righteous than males are when I was growing up within the LDS Church.

That is one aspect of Mormon culture that has totally evaded me; I've never really known anyone who openly discussed or joked about future polygamy.

The sad thing is, his "joking around" has a historical and doctrinal basis.

It did make sense that I was taught that females are generally more righteous than males are when I was growing up within the LDS Church, hence the need for plural marriage within the Celestial Kingdom.
However, I do want to make it very clear in this Discussion Thread, That I am now very, very Anti - Plural Marriage (Polygamy), and that I don't believe that Plural Marriage will be practice in the Celestial Kingdom. I do believe in the Book of Mormon teaching about Plural Marriage (Polygamy), that Plural Marriage (Polygamy) is an abomination before the Lord God.

I just gave you a PUI.

Post sober, Joe, so we won't have to have these little conversations in the future.

I've actually laid claim to her as a future polygamous wife should the Church ever decide to bring that back. She has agreed but demands that she remain in California and I simply send her my paycheck each week.

I sure hope he didn't say that because he was lusting after her because that would make him an adulterer and that leaves two wives unclaimed.

The joke about alcoholism is not appreciated. I grew up in a family of alcoholic bastards and am glad I have never gone back. I can see why a number I have seen here don't post often and when they do, often do not come back.

What I posted is accurate.

For Utah and child molestation, do some checking and you will find crime statistics bear this out.

As for those here I see the infamous Peterson is not the only jackass.
