Where do you get and keep flaming swords?

Joseph was threatened by an angel with a flaming sword.. if he didn't perform.
Cherubim and a flaming sword are guarding the tree of life.
How many other flaming swords are lying around from biblical/religious references?
Are they kept in a special vault that keeps them going? Are they out when stored and only brought to flame when needed?
Are the flames used to cauterize the wound even as the angel or whomever lops off whatever body part it needs to for the object lesson du'jour?
Did Gordon Hinckley ever see a flaming sword?
Is Tommy Monson worried more about flaming swords or flaming fags?

Tell me. I still see no point in lighting a sword on fire.
Does it make one more dead when they are stuck with it?
..and if the angel's pants were on fire too would that make him a liar liar..?

You misunderstand and are guilty of failing to understand that they didn't have lightsabers back then. This is obviously what they are describing but lacked the word for it.

The gentiles have also failed to grasp that the Heavenly Messenger would also hit the off button before returning the light saber to its sheath.

Anyone ever seen an angel? From what I've read everything about them appears to human eyes to be flaming (queue gay jokes.....NOW!)

If I knew how, I would link to the next thread where there has been discussion of a mob who did mistake angels for flaming queers, prompting Lot to offer his daughters instead.
Anyway, although the flaming sword was not specifically mentioned, poor old
Onan was slain for not bonking his brother's wife in the approved manner. So there is sort of a precedent.
