Coming from you this is such a nice compliment.
No wonder the guy quit posting.

If you are trying to suggest that my posts aren't very substantive either, I am afraid I would have to agree. I just don't have the time or inclination to spend as much time on Mormonism anymore. My heart really isn't that into it any longer.

I don't think the criticism Peterson received of late has been more than he is used, and like stated above he likes to mix it up a little. I think he quit because he wasn't making any headway.

I took John Larsen's post to mean that Daniel wasn't writing lengthy posts on this board (and perhaps not on MAD either) so the actual time he spends posting is miniscule.

Whatever you meant by your remarks above, solo, I have no blessed clue at all.

That is indeed what I meant.

No, heavens, no.
I complimented you but you missed it, it's ok I'm very dry sometimes in my prose.
Your posts are good and definitely not void of substance.
DCP left because he was cornered here, Scratch abused him maliciously (with obvious blatant reality on his side).
It wasn't a fair fight.

Many of my posts aren't substantive either.

Sometimes they're just plain short.

How do you know he ran up 130 posts since his Basta? I'd be a little more worried about the "get a life" factor of a person who worries about when Daniel posts, how much and for how long, than Daniel himself.

Well it's pretty easy to find number of posts between dates on that board with the sort functions they have.

I single out Peterson because of his continued rhetoric of "how busy" he is and that, when it's convenient to dodge an answer, of why he is suddenly "to busy" to post. [by the way, looks like he is at that 200 posts/week at the other board now!] His addiction is just being filled there now. I doubt teaching what he does at BYU is very demanding or in demand so free time is obvious plentiful for him. I mean, seriously, how many times can one review, or edit the review of, the same book!

For those who post a lot here, so be it if that's what they enjoy. I just don't see them complaining of the little time they have for this board while they do it (as does Peterson).

For me, I just would go stir crazy sitting in front of screen for the time it would take to run up the posts that Peterson does. I prefer to be in front of people or active outside as opposed to being in front of a keyboard. It just seems to be more productive and rewarding for me.

No joke.

Peterson now has over 300 posts on the "other" board since his "basta" here. Pace of about 600 per month!!

Where does a "busy" guy get the free time??!!
