I remember when someone started a thread many moons ago about “Fundies Say the Darndest Things!”. Somehow having the words said out loud makes it even better.

I'm sure you could also make this kind of video out of arrogant things said by atheists on message boards. You might have to look a little harder, however, to find such examples of atheist ignorance and bigotry.

While most LDS I have met would be considered more "enlightened" than the original writers of those comments, I wonder how many of those ideas could be compatible with LDS beliefs (meaning, "the beliefs held by some LDS", not "official teachings published by the Church and believed by most LDS")

Many forms of chrsitianity are essentially atheist, especially the liberal. The US is essentially ruled by atheists who masquarade by going to a politically acceptable church. China and Europe are ruled by atheists. The UN is run by an atheist beauracracy (including graduates from the law and social sciences programs at BYU) In fact, I don't think there are very many national leaders in the world today who genuinely practice or believe in their stated religion.
