It's about two years old, and I've been growing my hair out for almost a year and a half now, so I'm looking somewhat different today than I did then, but you still get the idea. So now you have an image upon which to focus your bitchy disdain.

beastlie:

I knew all along that if Will ever actually saw a picture of me, he’d be far less vitriolic with me.

Oh, beastlie, you underestimate me. I have no doubt, now that the initial flush of your pretty-decent-middle-aged-woman-looks has faded away, that nothing much will change, other than the fact that I will probably throw out a few more well-placed double entendres now and then.

Other than that, it'll be just like old times in no time at all. After all, beauty is only skin deep. In your case, it's just barely scratching the surface. But your pretentious would-be intellectualism and tireless anti-Mormonism goes all the way to the bone.

.
And, no, Will, I’m certain we’ve never met.

I'm not so sure. In fact, I'm more and more certain, but I still can't recall the time and place. I'll keep pondering it ...

No TAK. I am Satan. Just ask anyone here.

Yeah, Will, you seem to have two modes in dealing with females - both centered around how they look. That's why your natural "mode of attack" for females on this site is to either throw out flirtatious "double entendres", while dismissing them, or to insinuate that they're ugly cows, while dismissing them.

Either mode makes you uniquely unqualified to lecture others about "loving and respecting" eternal companions.

You give yourself way too much credit.
I doubt most people think anything about you..

Based on nothing more than her dowdy appearance, the judges and audience were certain she was going to be a dud, and laughed at her aspirations. And then she opened her mouth. For all the people on this planet who have had to suffer from being judged and belittled due to nothing more than their looks, I wanted to shout: YOU GO GIRL!

That was sensational. It's on the way to all of my email friends.

It reminds me of another episode regarding the "puny" King David, and a recent discussion on MAD where many Mormons were insisting on the tall, white, blond-haired Jesus (an image you can't eradicate from the typical Mormon mind), and that Ted Neely, who played the role of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, was "wimpy". How do they know Jesus wasn't "wimpy" looking? That struck me as so typical:

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. (1 Sam. 16:7)

Just a little taste, a blast from the past on insights of Will's thoughts of his wife and daughters and I suppose women in general. He's a sweetheart.

And I have a 13-year-old daughter! Believe me, she understands what is moral and what is not. It's been spelled out with brutal clarity. Of course, her mother handled that part.

How ironic. This is precisely what the topic was today in our gospel doctrine class.

It was a great lesson.

My wife did a great job!

Of course, she copied a lot of her lesson from one I had given four years ago!

By the way, I just love the "Wrong-headed Wench" touch. I've been affectionately calling my wife "wench" for several years now, and I really appreciate the fact that you've provided me with a variation on the theme.

Basically for some strange reason, I believe that Will and his wife deserve each other, not sure about the daughters.

Yeah, every once in a while the Biblical writers got it right.

I think I first began to fall in love with my boyfriend because he so consistently treated women with respect. I’ll never forget when some new guy joined the exmormon email group and started acted like an arse with the females, and posted bragging about how he had slept with lots of LDS girls from their “Special Interest” group, because even though they were unattractive, they were easy. My boyfriend (wasn’t my boyfriend at the time) ripped into this guy, telling him that he should be ashamed taking advantage of those women, who were obviously hoping for a relationship. He ended the post with “I don’t like you, sir.” Now that’s a real man, and believe me, he never feels compelled to brag about how virile and “alpha” he is. He doesn’t need to. And he would never make suggestive remarks to other women. It’s not that I control or dominate him in some way – it’s that he deeply respects me and our relationship.
