Mormon Gulag Commercial during General Conference

Post by _GoodK »

Did anyone see it?

The Mormon church is clearly not affiliated with the business currently known as "West Ridge Academy" whatsoever.

Nope. I'm curious. What kind of commercial... for? against? Your post is confusing.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Harmony has a good point. When I saw the words "Mormon Gulag Commercial during General Conference," I initially thought that they played a commercial advertising your website. :-)

They played it at the end of the last session. Based on GoodK's hype, it's probably a good place to send any wayward kid.

I used to think so but I think they may be a little short on fatal beatings. I'd send my child to this school instead, they'd get the job done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBeguUvuDzs

Yes indeed. It is clearly quite proper that American families should be able to sentence their children to terms of what amounts to incarceration without legal process, and without the child in question having any access to a lawyer.

Anything less would be a denial of all that our Constitution stands for.

What a hilarious response.

Since I am not sure that I can safely read any more rib-ticklers of this kind without bursting a major blood vessel, I wonder if anyone else has ever known a young person successfully challenge the legality of their parents consigning them to a coercive environment that they are not allowed to leave?

What a sarcastic response.

Since I am not sure I can safely read any more ironic jabs of this kind without being overawed and stuck in a mire of deep thinking, I wonder if anyone cares.
