With only 10,000 posts to reach the one million mark, "Juliann's baby" is turning into an adult. There's seems little doubt it has been a successful board as far as drawing posters and generating lively discussions.

Ongoing predictions that MAD "would be dead in six months" haven't materialised. You have to give her credit.

It would become bland and boring without critics. They seem to like Tarski, but it's a sort of love/hate relationship. I think that's why they keep unbanning some critics. When the flames die down, they'll ask The Dude back.

It really is.

I live in a university community in Los Angeles. It's nice to be able to step out of that world and visit the alternate reality Mormons live in every once in a while. It's kinda like taking drugs.
