President Barack Obama's Mother Is Now A Mormon - Stanley Ann Dunham Necro-Baptized In A Mormon Temple.

Per Helen Radkey:

While Barack Hussein Obama, now president of our country, was hot on the presidential campaign trail in 2008, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posthumously baptized Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham. Barack Obama's mother was baptized on June 4, 2008 in the Provo Utah Temple, and "endowed" in the same LDS temple on June 11, 2008.

Barack Obama was born at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, to Stanley Ann Dunham, an American of mainly English descent from Wichita, Kansas.

...(Barack would lose his mother to cancer 1995.)...

I'm sure that it was done with complete respect and full permission of President Obama.

It wasn't plural marriage or even the United Order fiasco that caused all those nonMormon neighbors to attack the Saints. It was this kind of clueless hubris.

This sort of thing just makes me speechless. Good Night Shirt, people! Get a clue!

What relevancy does this (if accurate) have to do with any issues currently addressed by the President of the United States?

It has nothing to do with Pres Obama and everything to do with LDS chutzpah.

Naming her "Stanley" because he wanted a boy? Poor girl.

I hope Barack has more sense than his grandfather.

President Barack Obama's Mother Is Now A Mormon

Yellow journalism at its best. Unfortunately that statement is a lie. Baptism for the dead does not make one a posthumous Mormon any more than a Catholic lighting a candle for the dead makes the deceased Catholic. Try again.

I'm sure that it was done with complete respect and full permission of President Obama.

While I'm puzzled by the baptism myself, I would like to note that president Obama's permission may not be necessary if it were submitted by other close relatives (parents, other children, and siblings). I wouldn't be quite as comfortable with distant relatives, at least not so soon after death so as to respect their feelings as well. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's the guidance given by the church. Trying to blame this on the church seems like a cheap shot at best, especially when you resort to outright lies about the nature of baptism for the dead.

Your Cult baptized her, thus turning her into a Mormon.

"She can accept or reject it" means absolutely nothing. Your Cult doesn't give a damn about the feelings of others. Your Cult continues to baptize anyone they can get their hands on - ignoring the outcry of other religions. Of course, everyone who isn't Mormon belongs to the Church of the Devil, so arrogance is next to godliness in Mormonism.

Typical Mormon apologetic BS. Obfuscate, deny, attack.

"Brother (or Sister) ________, having authority, I baptize you, for and in behalf of________, who is dead, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen."

She is now a baptized using the Mormon version of baptism.

"Brother (or Sister) ________, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lay our hands upon your head for and in behalf of ________, who is dead, and confirm you a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and say unto you: Receive the Holy Ghost. Amen."

She is NOW a member of your Cult.

Shall I also drag out your Cult ritual of Necro Endowment?
