According to the Public Affairs news release:

Other program content includes informational packages about the ministry and teachings of Jesus Christ and the doctrines, history and news of the Church. Several planned segments focus directly on young children and teenagers.

Mormon Channel

The Mormon Channel is the official radio station of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The channel originates from Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah and broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Content for the station comes from the vast archives of the Church, along with several new series created specifically for this station. The Mormon Channel also features great programming from various partner organizations, including Deseret Book, Bonneville, the Deseret News, Dialogue and Sunstone, LDS Business College, and the campuses of Brigham Young University

Okay, that last line about Dialogue and Sunstone was my twisted sense of humour.

I imagine there will be interest in this channel from near and far. Will it be rebroadcast with the SETI antennas as well?

Do You think about the to direction of Kolob?

It would be useless. Prayer is faster than radiowaves.

Other program content includes informational packages about the ministry and teachings of Jesus Christ as currently interpreted by admittedly fallible prophets and apostles who have a record of teaching uninspired and incorrect speculation and opinion which sometimes contradicts the uninspired and incorrect speculation and opinion of other admittedly fallible prophets and apostles, and the latest, most current and up-to-date edition of eternal doctrines (NOTE: Subject to Change), moving devotionals based on or inspired by selected events that are suspected to have possibly occured at some point in history and news about all the service projects performed by yellow t-shirt wearing members of the Church.

It looks like being a Richard L. Evans and The Spoken Word type of radio.

Evans' advice on writing and speaking about the gospel:

"Always think of yourself as addressing the tiredest farmer in Koosharem"

Nibley's advice:

"Well, if you think it's over their heads, let them reach for it; we have to give them something more than pat answers."
