The Official Exmo's Theme Song

Post by _Droopy »

Here we come
Walking down the street
We get the funniest looks from
TBMs we meet.

Hey, hey we're the exmos
And people say we're spiritually dead
But we've got pride and Sunstone
Those Mormons shake with dread.

We say whatever we need to
Lie if that's what it takes
We don't have time to be honest
Yeah we don't give no breaks.

Hey, hey we're the Exmos
and people say we're spiritually dead
But we're too busy slinging
That mud at Joseph's head

We're just trying to destroy him
Come and watch us froth and rave
Adulterous generation
Without much of substance to say

Hey, hey we're the exmos
You never know what we might try
So you'd better get ready
We got some Mormon fish to fry

Hey, hey we're the Exmos
and people say we're spiritually dead
Our great and spacious building
Behind three months in rent
Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us

- President Ezra Taft Benson

I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white.

"Great and spacious building"? "Spiritually dead"? Most of your allegations are only epithets from an LDS point of view. It would be like if I used bad meter and borrowed kitsch to sneeringly call you a "religionist" -- not exactly a trenchant critique.

Trenchant critique? HERE?

But I know you jest, as nothing of that sort will ever be responded to in kind.

Spiritual death and the psychology and attitudes present in the Great and Spacious Building are definitive of the phenomena of apostasy from the gospel, and that' s why I use it.

They are among the definitive characteristics of those who do so.

And in any case, in only come here on occasion for recreational apologetics, not the serious kind.

Not from you, anyway. Particularly when you run from your own threads (e.g., the torture thread) with your tail between your legs. You received some "trenchant critiques" from a number of posters and all you did was bail. Color me unimpressed, Droop.

...according to the Book of Mormon, which critics believe to be fiction. Will you step outside your insular worldview for half a second, please? Your circular-logic-jerk is wearisome.

Oh no, I didn't run (you love this kind of thing, don't you Scratch), I just quit and let if fester. I won't deny that I did get tired of fielding the same tired, dishwater thin left wing peace-at-any-price, distant stare pseudo moralizing, as well as your intellectually sloppy and confusing tirades for no other reason than you enjoy them, but why digress.

There were a few short responses that were good (as I acknowledge). You Scratch, as usual, were nowhere among them.
