Adieu

Post by _Droopy »

I'll be back to kick the ant hill and stomp on some more fungus encrusted toes at a future time.

In the meantime, please take the opportunity of my absence to discuss the deeper ramifications of masturbation, polygamy, polyandry, Fanny Alger, torture, waterboarding, masturbating while being waterboarded, the Mormon gulag, Gay marriage, Gay masturbation, Gay torture, Tattoos, earrings, Prop 8, the September 6, The MMM, the SCMC, the KEP, and all things generally liberal, left wing, and CNNish.

And please see to it that all such discussions are of a philosophically deep, rich, nuanced, rigorous, and profound nature.

I'm sure you will.

Until the next time, when the control voice will take you to...

You always run when asked to provide substance.

Actually, I should edit that to say you always run when you are asked to provide substance and you can't pretend that a bunch of links to your right-wing site provides that substance.

You write "adieu."

I ask, "Is that a promise?"

Droop's "adieu" is as deep and profound as Joseph's "adieu". And as meaningless.

Loran, if we discussed the courageous machinations of Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy, would you return to us sooner? What about video footage of an American bald eagle flying Sarah Palin over Denali Park in order to shoot dolphins and prove that global warming is just a hoax devised by liberal, left-wing CNN staffers?

Any special reason you have to announce your departure instead of just doing so silently?

Droopy has a point by listing what he listed. It does seem that when one enters through the threshold of exmoland, one begins to lose the freedom to think for one self. For example, it is difficult to find an exmo who is against same sex marriage on exmo boards. All seem to conform to the standard, if the LDS is for it, I need to be against it.

Likewise for porn or any other social issue that that the LDS church opposes. When on an exmo board, if one takes a stance that the LDS church favors, a woolf pack syndrome occurs where exmos begin to gang up on that poor soul who agrees with the LDS church, especially if this poor soul had agreed before with the LDS on some social issue.

As such, exmos are usually lacking in critical thinking skills and they forsake their objectivity as they enter exmoland on the Internet.

Just for the record, even though I'm not exmo, I'm against porn (on general principles) and I'm ambivalent about gay marriage.

Head on over to exmo boards and begin to stress your position and see what happens. Here you are well known and will survive. Go to other sites and post that you are a member of the LDS church but inactive and state your position. Make sure that you mention that the LDS church is correct in that principle and see how many allies you have. Do not criticize the LDS church for any reason but stick to your position. You will not last long....
